You are well-versed in the mission of compulsory school and believe that good collegial cooperation is a very important part of your work environment. The systematic quality work and our IBIS (Inclusive Behavioral Support in Schools) permeate the entire operation and are the hub of our development work.

To create conditions for a good learning environment and goal fulfillment, we work in a co-teaching system with small teaching groups. You and your co-teacher share a group of 34 students, with your teaching group consisting of 17 students.

You alternate between working with the student group and pedagogical planning, collegial learning, documentation, reflection, and systematic quality work together with other educators to develop the operation.

You engage with current research and work daily for pedagogical solutions with young people in focus and are attentive to the different needs of students. You have the ability to adapt your teaching to the target group and are open to developing yourself together with colleagues and teams.

The work is conducted in a trusting manner and in close collaboration with colleagues, students, and guardians.

It is an advantage if you are or are training to be a school librarian.

Väringaskolan is located in Harberget in the picturesque town of Sigtuna. The operation consists of preschool, pre-school class, school, and after-school care with nearly 300 children enrolled.

Väringaskolan is run as a non-profit association that has existed since 1991. The principal has been delegated the responsibility for the school's ongoing operations and personnel resources by the association's board.
